Young Game Of Thrones Star Found Sex Scene With Natalie Dormer ‘Very Disturbing’

Actor Dean-Charles Chapman, who plays 12-year-old King Tommen Baratheon in ‘Game Of Thones’, has admitted he found filming a sex scene with Natalie Dormer “very disturbing” and “messed-up”.

The actor was 16 when he filmed the sequence with then 32-year-old ‘Hunger Games’ star.

The scene – which didn’t involve any nudity - was in the latest episode of Season Five (‘High Sparrow’) and saw her character Margaery Tyrell seduce the young king for nefarious reasons.

Taking to MTV, Chapman (above) said: “It was very disturbing.

“Normally when my stuff’s on the telly, I don’t watch my own bits. But this was such a big scene for my character, so I checked it out… I found out about that scene by reading the script, and I was really shocked. I didn’t think it would have gone down like that on screen. I was nervous to just be pretend marrying Natalie Dormer.

“It’s just really weird as a viewer to watch — even if I watch it, it’s pretty messed up, because Tommen is such a young kid. Margaery is like, this fully grown woman, who is really just using Tommen for the power she can get from him.”

Apparently showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss spoke to the two actors to work out how best to make filming the scene less awkward. The professionalism of Dormer (below) also helped the young star.

“I only had my top off; underneath the quilt I had trackies on and stuff … But Natalie — I pat her on the back for what she did,” said Chapman.

“Natalie is a lovely person, she made it all completely smooth.”
