A Northern Ireland girl singing a holiday rendition of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” with her school chorus is bringing the internet to tears – and we are no exception.

Kaylee Rodgers, 10, is diagnosed with Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Though she was not very verbal when she started at the Killiard House Special School in Primary Four at seven years old, singing has helped her gain confidence.

“For a child who came in P4 and wouldn’t really talk, wouldn’t really read out in class, to stand and perform in front of an audience is amazing. It takes a lot of effort on Kaylee’s part,” Colin Millar, principal of Killiard House, told UTV.

The video of her song, accompanied by her school choir during the chorus, has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times, with hundreds of commenters praising her angelic voice.

“Leonard Cohen would love this!” wrote one commenter. Cohen, who penned the famous song, passed away in November.

As for Kaylee, she says she’s ecstatic about the attention the video is receiving.

“I just loved doing it,” she said.

Keep blessing the world with your amazing talent, Kaylee!
