The 100's Lindsey Morgan has revealed why her character is "not in a good place".

Lindsey, who plays mechanic Raven Reyes on The CW's sci-fi drama series, admits that her character has gone through a lot over the last few seasons.

First, it was the betrayal of medic Clarke Griffin, and then the death of Miles Shaw. The couple developed a romantic relationship back in season five.

"She has a lot of anger between the betrayal of Clarke, the death of Shaw...the betrayal and essentially the death of their relationship with Abby," she told Digital Spy.

"Yeah, she's not in a good place. She disagrees with the way the people at the Sanctum run their lives, what they do.

"And she disagrees with all of her friends being okay with it."

She continued: "So she's not someone who's gonna change her opinion just because everyone else is. And right now people find her very unlikable because she's kind of standing alone and yelling 'No, we can't do this'.

"But with that said, I admire her dynasty."

While season six is currently airing in the US, CW boss Mark Pedowitz has previously revealed that executive producer Jason Rothenberg has plans for season seven too.

"I know [Jason] has a plan beyond year five," he told Nerdist, though admitted "it's too soon to have that discussion".

"He may have a six or seven-year plan to it," Pedowitz added. "I don't know if I'm allowed to even say that, that he has a plan beyond year five, but he does."

The 100 airs on The CW in the US. E4 airs the show in the UK.
