1. Suzy slips up in front of Moira
Suzy is all set for the Take A Vow showcase, unaware that her planned slideshow includes a picture of Holly Barton. When the photo flashes up, Moira recognises the dress that Holly wore on the day she died.
Moira demands an explanation from Suzy, but she's still not ready to be honest about her connection to Holly and covers her tracks by lying.
2. Suzy's confession leaves Vanessa with a dilemma
Vanessa watches the tense situation unfold and can tell that Suzy hasn't told the truth about Holly. She pushes Suzy for the real story and is shocked to hear what happened on the day that Holly died.
Suzy begs Vanessa to protect her secret. As Vanessa feels torn between her relationship with Suzy and her friendship with Moira, she must decide where her loyalties lie.
3. Sandra's past comes back to haunt her
After arriving in the village, Liv's mum Sandra explains that she owes £4,000 to a man called Terry. She reveals that she's in trouble and Terry has been taking advantage of her, but there's a sense that Liv's wayward mother isn't being entirely honest about something.
Later, Terry arrives at Liv's home and angrily demands the money from Sandra. Liv decides to step in by paying the money herself.
4. Sandra is given a new opportunity
Liv decides to help Sandra find a job and convinces Mandy to offer her a position at the salon.
Bernice isn't pleased when she's told that Sandra will be shadowing her, but will the new arrival's first day go well?
5. Dawn gets a shock after her friend's funeral
Dawn is upset to hear that her best friend Beth has died from a drug overdose. She attends the funeral and catches up with Jade, another old friend.
Jade persuades Dawn to come back to her place following the service. As Jade starts to take drugs, Dawn spots a child called Clemmie at the house. Jade explains that Clemmie is Beth's daughter, who doesn't know that her mum has died.
6. Dawn makes a drastic decision
When a dangerous man arrives at the house, Dawn realises that it's not a safe place for Clemmie to be. She takes Clemmie back home to the village, much to the concern of Billy.
Billy urges Dawn to go through proper channels by consulting social services, but she refuses. Dawn eventually persuades Billy to let Clemmie stay with them for one night.
7. Nicola confides in Jimmy
When Jimmy returns home, Nicola realises that it's time to confide in him about how much the recent attack has affected her mental health.
Jimmy is surprised by Nicola's revelation, but when he promises to be there for her, she feels stronger for his support.
8. Nicola steps up her fight for justice
Nicola decides to post the video of her attack online, calling for information on who the culprits were. Jimmy tries to support Nicola's decision, but Bernice worries that it could make matters worse.
Before long, Nicola is provided with the name of one of the attackers and she calls PC Swirling to pass on the information.
9. Amelia's interest in Noah sparks concern
Gabby is disgusted when Noah sends her a visiting order, which she bins. Amelia retrieves the visiting order and steals Gabby's ID so that she can visit Noah herself. Noah is shocked when it's Amelia who turns up to see him in prison.
Later in the week, Amelia confides in Lydia about how she has boy trouble. Lydia tries to make her see that she deserves better than Noah.
10. Marlon plans the wedding
Marlon bonds with Priya over their shared struggles. His recovery also continues as he passes a new milestone.
Later, Marlon's thoughts turn to the upcoming wedding and he asks Paddy to be his best man.
11. Laurel hopes to see Kit
Laurel clearly has feelings for Kit and she looks forward to a chance to see him again.
When Rhona reveals what time Kit will arrive to see Marlon, Laurel is determined to make sure that they cross paths.
12. Matty regrets the past
Following the photograph of Holly appearing at the showcase, Matty reflects on the past.
Matty struggles with the knowledge that he wasn't there when Holly died.
