Sienna Miller has revealed that she was starstruck by the actress who plays her daughter in her new series Anatomy of a Scandal.

While appearing on The One Show with her co-star Rupert Friend last week, Miller said that Amelie Bea Smith is also the voice of Peppa in Peppa Pig, with the actress calling it a "mic-drop moment" meeting her.

The actress, who shares a daughter named Marlowe with her ex-fiance Tom Sturridge, revealed that she has got voice notes from Amelie on her phone and that her lucky little girl even got to FaceTime with her.

"She is the voice of Peppa Pig," Miller told hosts Alex Jones and Jermaine Jenas. "It's a mic drop. I'd have her on FaceTime to my daughter all day being Peppa, I've got voice notes… I was genuinely starstruck.

"I mean that's your snooze alarm isn't it when you have a newborn baby, so I feel indebted to her for the hours of extra sleep."

The cartoon pig certainly does buy parents some extra time here and there, so the actress being starstruck is pretty understandable.

Miller and Friend are currently starring in the Netflix mini-series based on the Sarah Vaughan novel of the same name, which has twists and turns galore if you're looking for something to binge.

It follows MP James Whitehouse who is on trial for raping a parliamentary intern, however, he alleges the encounter on the night in question was consensual and part of a five-month illicit affair that often involved them having sex at work.

The ending very much sets the show up for a season two with the story there to be continued should it be greenlit.

Anatomy of a Scandal season 1 is available now on Netflix.
