Anchor and Hope exclusive trailer: Oona Chaplin stars in LGBT+ drama

Two lives are turned upside down by a dramatic ultimatum in Anchor and Hope.

It's the latest film by Spanish writer/director Carlos Marques-Marcet, with Oona Chaplin and Natalia Tena starring as Eva and Kat, a couple living a carefree, yet humble lifestyle in a London canal boat.

Now in their mid-30s, Eva has desires for her future that she makes well-known to Kat: she wants a child. But Kat resists, worried it may impact the bohemian future she envisions for the both of them.

However, when Kat's best friend Roger (David Verdaguer), drops in from Barcelona, the trio start to toy with the idea of creating a baby together.

Screen International praised the film as "a romantic comedy that champions lifestyles that don't fit the suburban mould through choice and economic necessity".

Oona Chaplin also happens to star onscreen here with her real-life mother, Geraldine Chapman, the fourth child of screen legend Charlie Chaplin.

Anchor and Hope hits UK cinemas 28 September.
