Celebrity cooking contest Cooking With The Stars is set to return with a line-up including The Chase star Anne Hegerty, Strictly Come Dancing's Anton Du Beke, and This Morning presenter Josie Gibson.

The ITV competition is hosted again by Emma Willis and Tom Allen, and has announced an all-new celebrity cast of contestants for series two.

It sees the famous amateur chefs matched with kitchen pros who mentor them through the competition - but could end up sending home their own proteges when they blind taste test a final round each episode to choose who to vote out.

They will be coached by a line-up of chefs who include Rosemary Shrager, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Clodagh McKenna.

Holmes has been partnered with Ronnie Murray, Higgins with Rick Stein's son Jack Stein, Wilkinson with Judy Joo, and Cook with Mike Reid.

Host Willis said: "Tom and I had so much fun last series and I’m looking forward to getting back into the kitchen. The pressure the celebs are under is real and once the competition starts heating up everybody wants to win, but I’m hoping there isn’t as much blood as last series!"

Allen added: "Last series was so exciting! Emma Willis and I have been polishing our frying pans in preparation – we have so much fun working together.

"The celebrities are being trained by some of the best chefs in the business and with the clock ticking it’s always tense to see if they’ll improve their cooking enough each week to measure up to the judges’ high standards."

The show is made in partnership with Marks & Spencer, and series one which debuted last summer was won by McFly star Harry Judd.
