The second season of BBC drama series The Capture has added another member to its cast.

Deadline reports that Succession's Rob Yang has landed a recurring role on the six-part second series, with filming currently underway.

Series two of The Capture will see Holliday Grainger return as Detective Inspector Rachel Carey. The first series had us all talking in late 2019 with its central mystery being whether damning CCTV evidence used in court had been tampered with or not.

This time, Carey will be trying to navigate "a Britain under siege from hacked news feeds, manipulated media, and interference in politics".

Yang will play the head of an internationally renowned Chinese tech company based in the UK.

Earlier this month we got more casting news when it was announced that I May Destroy You's Paapa Essiedu had been cast as the joint lead of the series.

His character hasn't been publicly named, but we know that he is an MP who has ambitions to go all the way to the top.

"I'm so excited to be coming on board with The Capture," Essiedu said. "Ben [Chanan] has written one of the freshest and most prescient scripts of recent times and I can't wait to see what this incredible cast and crew can do with it."

As for who's returning? Ron Perlman, Nigel Lindsay, Ginny Holder, Ben Miles, Lia Williams and Cavan Clerkin are all also reprising their roles from series 1 alongside Grainger.

The Capture airs on BBC One.
