Blackburn TV presenter, AJ Odudu, has been announced as a celebrity guest judge for the next season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

The former St Bede’s High School pupil is just one of many announced in the star-studded line-up of the show, which returns to our screens later this month.

Presenter Tess Daly, singer and actor Olly Alexander, Spice Girls member Mel B and actress Dame Joanna Lumley are just some of the other guest judges who have been announced for season four.

Speaking about the announcement, AJ said: "I love the glitz, the glamour, the transformation and the tucks! I'm honoured to be a part of the Drag Race magic."

Many fans can’t wait for AJ to return to their screens.

Married at First Sight star, Nikita Jasmine, said: “AJ Odudu I can’t wait to watch you. My favourite show ever.”

Carys said:  “AJ! I can’t cope.”

A third fan said: “I love AJ! She should be on every show on telly, she’s so awesome.”

RuPaul's Drag Race is a reality competition television series, where host RuPaul hunts for the UK’s next drag superstar.

Viewers can expect more death drops, tricks, splits and stunning looks.

Series one, two and three of RuPaul's Drag Race UK have been streamed more than 51 million times on BBC iPlayer.

Joining RuPaul on the judging panel are his trusty Drag Race UK sidekicks Michelle Visage, Alan Carr, and Graham Norton.

The contestants are yet to be announced but previous seasons included talent from Lancashire.

Last year, Burnley’s ‘Elektra Fence’, real name Julian Riley, took part in the competition but was eliminated in episode two.

The critically-acclaimed and award-winning series will return to our screens on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on Thursday, September 22.
