Britain’s Got Talent star Jack Carroll joins the Live At The Apollo line-up

The line-up for the new series of Live At The Apollo has been announced, and you’ll be pleased to know that a Britain’s Got Talent favourite has been added to the sidesplitting schedule.

Jack Carroll claimed the first runner-up spot when he competed in the seventh series of the talent show in 2013 at the age of 14, and has since appeared on Sunday Night at the Palladium, Trollied and a host of CBBC shows.

The young comedian, whose routines often focus on the subject of his cerebral palsy disorder, joked immediately after hearing the BGT result: “Runner up? A little bit insensitive, is it not?”

It’s safe to say we’re fans of Jack’s witty and dry sense of humour, so we can’t wait to see him take to the stage for Live At The Apollo, which returns to BBC Two for its twelfth series in November.

Although the running order has not yet been confirmed, here is the official lineup of comedians:

Frankie Boyle hosting with guests Jack Carroll and Holly Walsh.
Joe Lycett hosting with guests Ivo Graham and Phil Wang.
Josh Widdicombe hosting with guests Celia Pacquola and Nathan Caton.
Adam Hills hosting with guests Jamali Maddix and Michelle Wolf.
Gina Yashere hosting with guests Ellie Taylor and Sam Simmons.

Circle it in your TV guide, folks: Live at the Apollo returns November 8, 10pm on BBC Two.
