One of the best things about being a celebrity must be the honour of being immortalised as a Madame Tussauds waxwork figure.

Except in some cases, we don't think honour is the right word. Case in point, Britney Jean Spears...

This... thing was unveiled at the famous Los Angeles 'Welcome' sign on Friday (April 14) morning, and we think it probably needed more time in the shop.

A lot of Britney haters claim that the singer looks dead behind the eyes while performing, but this waxwork really falls into the 'Uncanny Valley', where a CGI character, waxwork or robot's eyes don't look convincingly human, which makes the whole thing feel 'off'.

The figure was unveiled to celebrate Britney announcing the end of her Vegas residency, 'Piece of Me', at the end of year. We can imagine her reaction to seeing it went something like this:

Is it the worst waxwork figure we've ever seen though? Nowhere near.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing... Marilyn Monroe.

This monstrosity lives in Eddie's Diner in Cardiff Bay, which you might recognise from the Doctor Who episodes 'The Impossible Astronaut' and 'Hell Bent'.

Returning to Britney, the star was 'blessed' with a Lifetime biopic TV movie earlier this year too, which was equally as questionable as the waxwork.

But enough Fakeney, how about how we finish off a Spearitual Easter with some unreleased rarities?
