Brooke Vincent engaged

Brooke Vincent has got engaged.

The 'Coronation Street' star took to Instagram to reveal she and her long-time boyfriend, pro footballer Kean Bryan, are to marry after six years together.

She shared a video of a set of drawings of her family's hand prints, and next to hers it read: "Mrs Brooke Levi Bryan to be ..."

Brooke - who has kids Mexx, two, and Monroe, 11 months - also captioned the clip: "Coming Soon… The Bryans"

The actress has come a long way since her first-ever kiss, which was with her 'Coronation Street' co-star Sacha Parkinson when filming scenes for the soap.

Brooke - who plays Sophie Webster in the show - made TV history in 2010 when she was part of the soap's first-ever lesbian kiss, and it was also a landmark moment for herself.

She recalled: "It was like the end of the shoot and they brought it forward so we had no time to think about it.

"So bearing in mind, not only is this my first kind of lesbian on screen kiss, it's my first kind of kiss.

"So I was a bit like, 'Where we at here, do we do tongues, do we not, do I put my head this side, which side are you going? Have you brushed your teeth?'

"I remember we had a tea break beforehand. I remember saying, 'Are you going to eat that?' I think it was something like garlic, or like garlic and herb Philadelphia. To make light of it."

Brooke took a break from 'Coronation Street' in 2019 and for the time being, she doesn't have any plans to return to the cobbles.

She recently said: "The boys need me at the minute, I haven’t got the commitment in me to say to 'Corrie', ‘Let me come back’."
