Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Stephanie Beatriz is having a very different Christmas this year.

The actress is currently making her West End debut in the play 2:22 A Ghost Story in London.

"My family and I have moved here for the next three months for the show, so my daughter's first Christmas will be a London Christmas which is really special," she exclusively told Digital Spy.

Beatriz and her husband Brad Hoss welcomed a baby girl named Rosaline in August this year.

Speaking to her co-star and on-stage boyfriend in the play, The Inbetweeners star James Buckley, she asked if there was any British traditions she should follow for Christmas.

"Just get really drunk, have an argument, make up and go to bed," he replied.

"So a global tradition," she responded. "I love this."

The pair also discussed if there was any extra pressure on them considering the first cast, which included Lily Allen and EastEnders star Jake Wood, were so well received by audiences and critics.

"They created something really special and great and audiences loved it," Beatriz said.

"We've come in and given our own version of it, it's an all-new cast so we are bringing something completely different to it while maintaining the honesty and truth and electricity of Danny [Robin's] really incredible script."

Buckley added: "I didn't get to see the original cast and I think that's probably a good thing.

"I'm taking over from Jake Wood and there was a lot of great stuff written about his performance, so if I had seen that I would have just nicked everything that he'd done and gone 'Yeah, I'll do everything like it, it's perfect.

"I put my own spin on it, sorry about that."

Giovanna Fletcher, who plays Jenny in the production, added she was also glad she didn't see the first cast.

"I think it's a good thing as we have nothing to compare it to," she said. "All we ever did is our normal process of delving into the characters and what the whole thing is.

"From our point of view, the pressure is off because we have nothing to compare it too."
