Can you spot what's seriously wrong with this Christmas family photo?

On first glance, this photo of a family gathering at Christmas looks like a picture perfect depiction of the festive season.

But it’s not quite the wholesome, heartwarming image that it initially appears to be – and it’s all thanks to the dog in the front of the festive snap.

Our eyes are initially drawn to the smiling faces of family, but look at the dog and you’ll soon realise that he’s seriously struggling to hold back his bowel movements.

In the photo, the dog appears to be in the middle of a poo, and there’s something pretty unsavoury being deposited while the photo is taken.

It isn’t clear where the photo originates from, but it turned quite a few stomachs after it was posted on Reddit by user farteousMaximus.

One user wrote: ‘They should all be noticing that, you don’t just ignore a dog in your peripheral vision popping a squat.’

And others picked up on the horror of a select few family members in the photo.

‘That girl on the left is looking like “oh s**t…’, one user wrote.

And others speculated that the dog knew exactly what he was doing.

‘You think Christmas is more important than taking me for a walk? Let me change your mind’, one user joked.

Either way, it’s the greatest foulest photobomb we’ve ever seen.
