Yahoo News Casualty's Amanda Mealing reunites with Jane Hazlegrove on Corrie set
Former Casualty stars Amanda Mealing and Jane Hazlegrove have reunited on the set of Coronation Street in a sweet selfie.
Fans will know Jane for playing Bernie Winter in the Manchester-based soap, which she joined in 2019 after departing the BBC medical drama as Kathleen 'Dixie' Dixon.
However, Amanda recently jumped on board Corrie too – this time in a directing role – following her exit as Connie Beauchamp this year.

Amanda has now shared a lovely picture of her working once again alongside Jane on the cobbles set.
"Absolutely LOVED working with this one again," she wrote on Twitter. "@itvcorrie only gave me one scene to direct her in but it just takes one scene for Ms Hazelgrove to smash it!"
Amanda's job on Corrie was confirmed earlier this month amid her break from Casualty, the actress spoke to Digital Spy back in April about her reasons for stepping away.

"I've been on the show for nearly seven years and it can be full-on. When we went back after the COVID episode, I'd worked 73 out of 80 days," she said.
"My spare time is also taken up with directing and making short films for my production company. I was very tired and so I have been enjoying catching up on sleep.
"It's very similar to Connie in a way – she needed to spend more time with [her daughter] Grace and I needed to take some time out of work too."
Casualty continues on Saturday, July 24 on BBC One. Coronation Street airs on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week on ITV.
