'Celebrity MasterChef' 2022: Who is in the final? When will it be on TV?

The Celebrity MasterChef trophy is within touching distance for the final three cooks – but who will be crowned the 2022 champion?

When is the Celebrity MasterChef final on TV?

The BBC One cooking contest's schedule has been hit hard by changes to programming after the death of the Queen.

The first finals episode aired on Friday, 16 September at 9pm, the second on Tuesday, 20 September at 8pm, and the grand final is on Thursday, 22 September at 8.30pm, all on BBC One.

Viewers had originally expected to see the winner named on Friday, 16 September before the schedule changed.

In 2021, the final of the main series of MasterChef had to be postponed as it was due to air on the same day that Prince Philip died, Friday 9 April.

Viewers saw Tom Rhodes crowned the winner the following week, when the episode aired on the Wednesday instead.

Who is left in the Celebrity MasterChef 2022 final?

There are three celebrity cooks going into the grand final on Thursday.

Celebrity MasterChef 2022's finalists are model and TV presenter Lisa Snowdon, All Saints singer Melanie Blatt and McFly's Danny Jones.

At the point that the schedules changed, only one semi-finalist – Lesley Joseph – had been eliminated, but Thursday's catch-up semi-finals saw Jimmy Bullard and Faye Winter also sent home.

Cliff Parisi and Kitty Scott-Claus were knocked out earlier in the finals.

Who won Celebrity MasterChef 2021?

This year's celebrity cooks are hoping to emulate the success of 2021 champion Kadeena Cox.

Paralympic athlete Cox won the contest against finalists Megan McKenna and Joe Swash, saying: "I am absolutely buzzing, this smile is not disappearing from my face for a while.

"I'm just proud of myself for doing it. I didn't change who I was, I learned along the way, but I was still Kadeena right until the end."
