Celebrity MasterChef serves "deconstructed" food

After booting out Aasmah Mir – unfairly according to viewers – earlier this week, Celebrity MasterChef was back tonight (September 1) with another two casualties.

Ulrika Jonsson, opera singer Lesley Garrett, actor Nick Moran and TV presenter Barney Harwood took to the kitchen in a series of challenges, which ended with them having to impress Alexis Conran, Louise Minchin and Sam Nixon.

And after judges Gregg Wallace and John Torode made their tough decision, Nick and Barney were booted and Ulrika and Lesley progressed to the semi-final.

However, before all that, the menus tonight featured pretty much only fish and it was a bit overkill.
