Chicago's Annual Holiday Train Tradition Returns for 2021 Season

The Chicago Transit Authority’s (CTA) annual Holiday Train tradition, complete with a live Santa Claus and decked out train cars, returned for the 2021 season to the delight of passengers.

The Holiday Train delivers “joy and the holiday spirit to thousands of riders,” according to the CTA, as well as “food baskets to various charitable agencies throughout the city.” The tradition began in 1992.
