TWO musicians perform together in a concert in Richmond this month.

Tabea Debus and Sergio Bucheli will be performing music for recorders and lute in an evening of entertainment organised by Richmondshire Concerts.

Described as a 'charismatic virtuoso', Tabea is greatly sought as soloist, collaborator, teacher and communicator. She will be performing a wide-ranging programme that explores music for recorders and lute by Marin Marais, Andrea Falconieri, Astor Piazolla, Freya Waley-Cohen, Gareth Moorcraft, John Dowland, Purcell, Handel, Geminiani, Marcello and Corelli.

Born in Mexico City, Sergio Bucheli started playing the classical guitar before moving to the UK where, in 2016, he was awarded the ABRSM and Christopher Hogwood Scholarships to pursue his undergraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM) with Elizabeth Kenny where he studied the lute, theorbo and baroque guitar.

The concert is at the Influence Church in Richmond on January 25 at 7.30pm (doors open at 7pm).

Information and tickets may be found at www.rsconcerts.org, and tickets will also be sold at the door: £16, or £1 for full-time students.
