'Coronation Street' love stories turn sour in Valentine's special
Coronation Street's residents are set for a Valentine's Day to remember for all the wrong reasons with revenge, torment and family rifts on the cards.
Love might be in the air for many on Monday, but heartache is set for two of Weatherfield's couples as a sinister storyline kicks off and a Romeo-and-Juliet-style forbidden romance hits a stumbling block.
Viewers will see scheming Lydia Chambers (Rebecca Ryan) attempt to rip ex Adam Barlow's (Sam Robertson) life apart as she tries to ruin his relationship with wife Sarah Platt (Tina O'Brien) once and for all.
In a recent shock twist, the ITV soap revealed that Adam's recent tormentor was his ex-girlfriend who has befriended Sarah in an effort to get close to the couple.

But as Lydia's obsession escalates and Sarah gets drawn further into her terrifying plot over the coming weeks, will they work out who is causing problems before it's too late?
Meanwhile, love is on the rocks for young couple Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) and Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan), too, as the Barlows are intent on keeping them away from each other.
Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) are horrified when Amy collapses in a club after being spiked and believe bad boy Jacob is responsible, but things get even more tense when they realise that their daughter and Jacob are actually together.

Simon is determined to have Jacob put in jail - will the blossoming relationship weather the storm, or will Jacob turn out not to be quite as innocent as he claims?
Elsewhere, things are a little happier for Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) as Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) agrees to give their relationship another go, although his hectic work life as a teacher threatens to ruin things again.
Coronation Street continues on Monday 14 February at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
