Coronation Street's Gemma Winter plays down her depression next week as she attends a doctor's appointment.
The ITV soap is exploring a post-natal depression storyline for Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell), who has been struggling since the arrival of her quads.
Next week, Gemma faces another emotional moment when the babies won't stop crying. Needing an escape, she heads into the back yard for a moment but accidentally locks herself out.
As a panic-stricken Gemma tries to break the door down, she's relieved when her mum Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) arrives.

Bernie is stunned to see Gemma in such a distressed state and manages to force the door down. The babies are fine after their brief time left alone, but Gemma is inconsolable and brands herself an unfit mum.
Opening up to Bernie again, Gemma explains that she's exhausted but feels too afraid to sleep.
Bernie agrees to move in and help Gemma out, but only on the condition that she sees a doctor. Gemma agrees but has her own demand in response, urging Bernie not to tell Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) what's going on.
Later in the week, Gemma sees Dr Gaddas at the medical centre, accompanied by Bernie for moral support.

Bernie starts off by telling Dr Gaddas that Gemma is not sleeping and this is only the tip of the iceberg. However, Gemma deliberately plays down her depression and insists that she's just tired.
Bernie is frustrated and upset with Gemma for failing to be more honest with the doctor, causing tension between mother and daughter.
When Chesney overhears, he wants to know what they're arguing about. Will Bernie tell Chesney everything?
Coronation Street airs these scenes on Monday, March 23 and Wednesday, March 25 at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
