Corrections and clarifications

• A travel article about Todmorden miscalculated when it said Gaddings Dam was 800 metres above sea level and roughly 30 square metres. The dam’s altitude is about 350 metres and it has a perimeter of 900 metres (In Tod’s country, 31 July, page 48).

• New Boots and Panties!! was the debut album by Ian Dury, not Ian Dury and the Blockheads as we said in an interview with the musician’s son, Baxter Dury (31 July, Review, page 16).
