Armin Van Buuren has been announced as the first headliner for next year’s Creamfields.

The Dutch superstar DJ will top the bill of the Cheshire festival in 2020, following on from headline performances by the likes of Swedish House Mafia, Deadmau5 and Martin Garrix last summer.

Speaking after the announcement, Van Buuren said: “I’m excited to be back at Creamfields in 2020, having performed at the festival many times over the years and watching it grow into the show it’s become today. It’s always a special one for me.”

The DJ will appear on the South Stage on the Saturday of the festival, which is set to run from August 27-30.

Creamfields is the UK’s largest dance music festival, and regularly draws in the world’s best-known DJs to perform.

In 2019, it welcomed more than 70,000 revellers across the weekend, selling out completely.
