Dallas legend Linda Gray gets to enjoy a true British delicacy as she tucks into fish and chips in these brand new Hollyoaks spoiler pictures.
The US soap star returns to our screens in E4's first look episode tonight (February 24), as her character Tabby Maxwell-Brown arrives back in Chester for her grandson Nathan's funeral.
When Tabby first reappears in the village, top on the list of her priorities is comforting her daughter Marnie - who's struggling with both grief and guilt thanks to Mac's recent lies.
It also doesn't take long before Tabby realises that her grandson Alfie (Richard Linnell) is in desperate need of her support too, especially as Nathan's demise has come so soon after Jade Albright's death.
When word gets out that Alfie is still pretending he can see and speak to Jade, the revelation sparks some concern that he may not be coping properly.
Tabby has a different approach as she reassures Alfie that he isn't going crazy, revealing that she still talks to his grandfather all the time.
Soon afterwards, Tabby reluctantly tries fish and chips for Alfie's benefit as they enjoy a heart-to-heart on top of the City Wall - but will she be impressed?
Speaking about the scenes - and the chips - Linda laughed: "By the time I actually got to eat one, it was freezing and raining! I had a hot water bottle on my lap and then Richard said: 'Oh Linda, I have thermals on underneath my trousers'. And I only had thin little stockings!
"I had a hot water bottle on my legs - I think I was even sitting on a hot water bottle. So by the time I ate the chips, they were disgusting! My reaction in the episode to those chips was not acting!
"Richard and I had a great time laughing about it."
Hollyoaks airs weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4, with first look screenings at 7pm on E4.
