Darren Hayes would be too "terrified" to take part in 'Dancing on Ice'.

The former Savage Garden star explained that while he "loves" dancing, he has "never" thought of taking part in the hit ITV skating show, because he has a history of falling over in the rink.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I’ve never thought of ‘Dancing On Ice’ because I am terrified. Every time - when we lived in London - the ice rink came up we would go and I’d be that guy that was falling all over the place.

"I love dancing so if you’re out there, bookers - I love dancing! I’d love to dance with Maxim Baldry who plays Isildur on ‘Lord of the Rings'. Or Matt Healy! Matt if you’re out there, let’s dance together, and I’ll let you lead!"

Meanwhile, the ‘Truly Madly Deeply singer - who has been married to Richard Cullen since 2013 - has released his new album ‘Homosexual’ and is "so excited" to hit the road again for the ‘Do You Remember?’ tour, which will celebrate his 25 years in the music industry.

He said: "I’m so excited. And tickets have sold so well in the UK, it’s crazy. We added four more shows and there are still tickets for those.

"There are tickets to most shows, I think three have sold out. But tickets have sold really well and I’m so thrilled about that. It’s basically a hits show, its 25 years of music and I really made a concerted effort that make sure that this is a show that if you’re a casual fan you’ll turn up and be satisfied.

Darren Hayes' new album 'Homosexual' is out now. 'Do You Remember' tour runs throughout the UK in March and April 2023. https://darrenhayes.com/
