Lacey Turner has shared a sweet tribute to her baby son on his birthday.

The EastEnders star and her husband Matt Kay welcomed Trilby Fox last year when he was born at 36 weeks.

Sharing a video montage of her son on social media, Lacey wrote: "Happy 1st birthday baby!

"Wow how time has flown we can’t believe you're one! Thank you for one of the best years of our lives!

"A beautiful boy inside and out, the best brother & son, your kind, calming, cheeky nature has brought us so much joy over the last year!

"May your birthday be as special as you are my darling! We love you to the moon and back a million times! Forever & ever baby."

The video featured pictures of him as a baby, and documented him as he grew.

The couple are also parents to two-year-old daughter Dusty Rose.

Lacey, who married Matt in 2017, previously spoke about how they came up with their children's unique monikers.

"I knew a girl once and her sister was called Trilby Fox and I always thought it was such a cool name, and I quite liked it for a boy, so I've had it in my head for a really long time!" she said.

"It's nice because when people say, 'What's his name?' you say, 'Trilby, like the hat.' When we had Dusty, we said, 'Dusty, like Dusty Springfield'."

Lacey, who has played Stacey Fowler in the BBC soap on and off since 2004, wasn't expecting to welcome a second child so quickly after Dusty.

But after suffering two miscarriages before she had her daughter, she said it changed her attitude.

"After last time, we learned the best way was to have the attitude of 'if it happens it happens' – and then it did!" she told OK! back in September.

"It was a lovely surprise. It took so long with Dusty, but now they're coming along like buses! After the heartbreak we went through, it's a miracle to fall pregnant so quickly."
