"What a perfect little human we appear to have made. We could not be more obsessed with you."

She announced she was pregnant back in September last year saying: "This next step is an adventure, and we're looking forward to raising a happy, healthy, inquisitive, strong, and accepting child, and starting our own little family, as a trio!"

The actress has been open about her pregnancy across the last few months, giving fans a brutally honest update recently.

"Cellulite everywhere," she explained. "Like, arse, arms, thighs, even my knees. It is VERY annoying."

Melissa went on to speak about issues such as dry skin, a hairy belly, random hiccupping, diarrhoea, as well as loneliness and anxiety.

"The anxiety is real," she added. "Will I still be me when I'm a mother? Will everything be ok? WILL MY KID BE A PRICK."

Melissa starred in EastEnders from 2004 to 2010 when she played Lucy Beale, the daughter of Ian Beale.

She was replaced by Hetti Bywater who took over the role from 2012 to 2015 when the character was killed off.

After a long-running Whodunnit storyline, it was revealed that Lucy's character was killed by her half-brother Bobby Beale.
