Emmerdale star Jane Cox returns for Lisa Dingle voice scenes

From Digital Spy

Emmerdale's Belle Dingle was visited by the ghost of her late mum Lisa during tonight's (October 15) episode – in her head, at least.

Portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper, poor Belle has been going through some serious mental health issues recently, following the dramatic hit-and-run framing.

But it appears as though she's rapidly getting worse judging by the latest scenes.

It began to unfold when Paddy Kirk caught her having a quiet word with Lisa at the farm, who tragically passed away back in 2019 from a terminal illness.

Despite strict orders never to put her on shift with Jamie Tate, Paddy convinced Belle to do a few hours at the vets alongside him while he was at a meeting.

The atmosphere at work soon turned ugly, though, when the young Dingle sneakily swapped two vials of veterinary drugs that Jamie keeps in his car, but the drama was far from over as she then proceeded to quit her job on the spot.

Now on her own, viewers were granted entry to Belle's head as the voice of Lisa could be heard offering her daughter a bit of advice.

Will she freeze out this message from beyond the grave, or descend deeper into herself?

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
