Laura Norton and Mark Jordon are expecting their second child.

The 'Emmerdale' actress and her fiance and former co-star Mark Jordon - who also has kids Poppy and Joe with his ex-wife Siobhan Finneran - have announced they are set to become parents again after they welcomed their son Jesse into the world in January 2021.

Alongside a snap of the pair sitting in the garden gazing into each other's eyes with Laura's bump proudly on display, she wrote on Instagram: "Round 2… @markjordondad."

Mark gushed in his own post: "Jesse Poppy and Joe get to share our next adventure.

"Thank you @laura_norts for the most special gift you’ve brought me . Thank you for being an amazing mum . Our next special little person is very lucky to have your care love and brilliant view of life.

"Let the adventures begin again . You’re working so hard in the Dales and give so much to us all. All five of us are blessed to have you in our world. Thank you xxxxx."

Laura admitted giving birth to her "perfect" boy was the most "incredible, surreal experience" she will ever have.

She posted: at the time: "So, on Friday Jan 29th at 1.30am we managed to bring this little champ into the world. It was the most incredible, surreal experience I have ever had and probably ever will and my tiny mind is blown. He is perfect and we’re all so happy to welcome him to the fam. Jesse Jordon we’re all head over heels IN LOVE with you. (sic)"

Laura - who plays Kerry Wyatt in the ITV soap - also praised Mark for being the "best birthing partner".

She added: "@daddyjordon you were the BEST birthing partner would absolutely not be in one piece without you and @roh_birthcentre are amazing!! All the girls but espesh Amy our midwife who is some sort of super hero (sic)"

Mark - who previously played Daz Spencer on 'Emmerdale' - and Laura were due to marry in 2020, but they put their nuptials on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic.

He said: "We had hoped it would be this year. I went off on a tour and we were planning everything and we were like, 'As soon as the tour is done we can scoot off...'"And now this pandemic has happened. And now something else [Laura's pregnancy] has happened."
