Yahoo News Emmerdale's Pete plans confession after kissing Kim
Emmerdale's Pete Barton vows to be honest with his partner Rhona Goskirk tonight (June 24) after betraying her with Kim Tate.
Pete (Anthony Quinlan) cheated on Rhona last week by kissing Kim during a heart-to-heart at Home Farm, but he turned down the opportunity to take things further.
In tonight's episode, Rhona (Zoe Henry) remains oblivious to Pete's antics and even apologises to Kim for their recent row when they cross paths by chance at the café.
Rhona wants to get her friendship with Kim (Claire King) back on track after their recent pettiness, completely unaware of the schemer's attempts to steal Pete away from her.
When Kim gets a moment alone with Pete shortly afterwards, she taunts him for bailing on her the previous day.
Kim also relishes in the fact that Pete hasn't told Rhona what happened, threatening him over the secret by hinting that she might reveal all.
Keen to make sure that Kim doesn't have any power over him, Pete immediately vows to take matters into his own hands by telling Rhona himself as soon as possible.
When the moment of truth arrives, how will Pete handle it and could it be the end for his relationship?
Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
