Frank Skinner is to present Absolute Radio Live.

The ‘Room 101’ host will host Absolute Radio Live with Holiday Inn Express at the London Palladium - which is in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust - on November 27th, and he will also share the stage alongside other comedy big hitters, Romesh Ranganathan, Ed Byrne, Kerry Godliman, Matt Forde, Chris McCausland and Zoe Lyons.

The 65-year-old comedian said: “When Absolute Radio asked me to return to host this year’s comedy event, I couldn’t say no. I mean I literally couldn’t … it’s in my contract. Good thing then that it’s such a great bill of names, and all for a brilliant cause too.”

Frank - who fronts the station’s ‘The Frank Skinner Show’ on Saturday mornings and the weekly ‘Poetry Podcast’ - and David Baddiel are expected to to re-record their beloved 1996 football anthem ‘Three Lions’ as a Christmas song, complete with a shout out to the Euro champion Lionesses, alongside The Lightning Seeds’ Ian Broudie, 64, renaming it ‘Three Lions on A Sleigh’.

The song - which could drop just in time for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar - is also expected to get a video refresh and they have their fingers crossed for Sir Geoff Hurst, the hat-trick hero during English's World Cup win in 1966, making an appearance.
