Charlotte Crosby has appeared to slam the Geordie OGs series on Twitter.

In a now-deleted tweet, the Celebs Go Dating star seemingly took aim at the series in an expletive-filled rant about nine years of loyalty – which is, of course, the number of years Geordie Shore has been on air.

"9 years of loyalty," she wrote (via OK!). "9 F**KING YEARS. Thanks a F**king lot. Piss taking f**king c**ts."

Following the tweet being posted, some fans speculated that Charlotte could have been reacting to her own MTV reality series The Charlotte Show being cancelled.

But in another tweet posted on Sunday (August 18), Charlotte confirmed that her own show would be back for a fourth series.

"I actually love Charlotte [Crosby], will there be season 4 of The Charlotte Show?" A viewer asked.

"YES," she replied in all caps.

Geordie OGs will follow former cast members Gary Beadle, Marnie Simpson, Aaron Chalmers and Holly Hagan and explore what they are up to now.

Speaking previously about the series, Gary Beadle reflected on why he eventually agreed to do the show after his initial hesitation, saying: "I just thought why not?

"I think I just want people to see kind of what we've became and how generally how well we've done from Geordie Shore, how much we've grown up and just see us in normal life."
