Giovanna and Tom Fletcher have been looking back on one year since her I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! win, as the McFly star joked "everyone I know wins reality shows".

Tom was recently voted out of Strictly Come Dancing, but showed his sense of humour about wife Giovanna and bandmate Dougie Poynter both having won I'm A Celebrity, while another of his bandmates, Harry Judd, is a former Strictly winner.

While the singer didn't manage to follow in their reality champion footsteps, he wrote a sweet message about his pride that his wife won the 2020 series.

Tom posted a photo of Giovanna after her win was announced and wrote on Instagram: "How was this a year ago?!?! What a crazy little moment in time and our lives.

"That whole series (and all the people in it) was just the happy making tv we all needed right then. Of course, I knew she’d win…everyone I know wins reality shows 🙄🤣 Well done my Queen! X @mrsgifletcher"

Giovanna also shared her memories, posting on her Instagram: "It’s my Queen-aversary! Still have no words for how much this moment meant to me. It was so surreal and magical. A million thank yous! Xxxxx"

The 2020 series was known for being one of the closest group of campmates ever to take part in the show, with almost no rows breaking out between contestants.

Other celebrities who took part included Jordan North, Vernon Kay, Sir Mo Farah, Beverley Callard and Shane Richie.

It was the first I'm A Celebrity series to take place outside of Australia, heading for Gwrych Castle in North Wales while coronavirus travel restrictions were in place, which made Giovanna the first Queen of the Castle.

This year's series is back in Gwrych Castle and is due to crown its winner next Sunday (12 December), but has included a lot more drama with fall-outs over cooking, Naughty Boy threatening to leave, and Richard Madeley having to quit early after visiting hospital.

It also saw the celebs forced to quit camp for the first time ever last weekend after Storm Arwen devastated the production base.
