Yahoo News Glee's Lea Michele pays tribute to Cory Monteith
Glee star Lea Michele has marked the anniversary of Cory Monteith's death on Instagram Stories.
The duo appeared opposite each other as Rachel Berry and Finn Hudson in the US musical comedy-drama series, before Monteith's untimely passing in 2013.
Paying tribute exactly eight years later, Michele posted a black-and-white shot of her former co-star/boyfriend yesterday (July 13) alongside a heart emoji.

Previously, Michele revealed how Glee mastermind Ryan Murphy helped her mourn at the time of Monteith's death.
"He completely cared for me. He made sure I was okay every single day, whether it was coming over to his house and having dinner prepared for me, or making sure I was okay at work," she shared.
"He sat me down and said, 'What do you want to do? Do you want to continue the show? Do you want it to end?' I just said, 'I just want to go back to work.' His heart is bigger than I think he knows what to do with sometimes."

Murphy, meanwhile, reflected on how their show was fundamentally altered by the tragedy.
"What started off as being such a great celebration of love and acceptance ultimately became about darkness and death. It was a great lesson in what not to do moving forward."
