The Haunting of Hill House star Mckenna Grace is joining the cast of dystopian drama The Handmaid's Tale.

The actor, who played the younger version of Kate Siegel's Theodora Crain in the hit Netflix horror, has signed on to portray "a sharply intelligent, teenaged wife of a much older Commander who rules her farm and household with confidence" in the show's upcoming fourth season, Deadline has confirmed.

After the news broke, Grace took to Instagram to share a screenshot of the publication's news report. "Blessed be the fruit," the 14-year-old captioned the image.

Sometime in 2021, she'll return to the big screen as Phoebe Spengler in Jason Reitman's Ghostbusters: Afterlife, starring opposite Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard, Carrie Coon and Paul Rudd.

Deadline also revealed that The Handmaid's Tale resumed production on season four two weeks ago in Toronto, having been shut down earlier in the year due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
