- The one downside of being as young as we were was that there were not some of the opportunities that you had to connect with somebody.

- We didn't go to the bar.

- We didn't go to the bar.

- I thought you were going to say-- I thought you were going to say turning down doing "Sesame Street" because we didn't want to be seen as the kid band.

- Oh no, actually no. Actually, that's the one.

KATE THORNTON: You didn't turn down "Sesame Street?"

- That's the one. We legitimately did this. So this is an example of both-- this is an example of both the trauma and the-- kind of maybe a little bit both too-- a little too self occupied and a little bit too in the moment or something. I don't know. We were honestly offered an opportunity to be on "Sesame Street."

And anybody that knows me knows I am obsessed with Kermit the Frog. But we got offered to be on "Sesame Street." And we were so frustrated with being pigeonholed as being this, you know, kid band that we looked at each other and went, I'd love to do that. I wish we could do that. Don't feel comfortable doing it.
