Headliners announced for Brighton music festival (find out who they are)

The Great Escape festival has announced its headliners for 2023.

The festival will take place across Brighton with a long weekend of live music.

Headline shows will be played at the Brighton Dome.

Pop sensation Maisie Peters, from Sussex, will perform at the concert hall on Friday, May 12.

From busking on the streets of Brighton, Maisie has since to supported Ed Sheeran over 50 times in the UK and Europe's biggest venues. Maisie returns to the festival after her first appearance at the start of her career in 2018.

Brit Award winning Arlo Parks is also returning to The Great Escape, where she performed one of her first ever live shows, on Saturday, May 13.

The festival also announced other acts including the pop funk artist Stacey Ryan, Dublin-based dance-pop duo 49th & Main and indie breakout star Blondshell.

More than 500 up-and-coming artists will play the festival at over 35 walkable venues in Brighton from May 10 to 13 next year.

Tickets start at £70 and go on sale this Friday.
