Holby City spoilers follow.

Bernie Wolfe (Jemma Redgrave) is set to come back to Holby City once again next week, as she returns to the scene of her evil son Cameron's crimes.

Back in September, Cameron was killed off after planting an explosive device in the hospital, shocking scenes showing him beg for his mother to say she was proud of him as they were trapped inside.

In the end she faltered, though Cameron pushed her out of the way in time before he was killed by debris.

New scenes airing next week (February 8) will see surgeon Bernie come back to Holby as she visits Jason Haynes, who is recovering from a car accident. Of course, his aunt Serena is with Bernie, opening up the possibility of her appearing too.

In a moment of panic after returning to the scene of her ordeal, however, she heads outside, where she runs into Donna Jackson. The latter's boyfriend Xavier was killed by Cameron, though Donna shows compassion towards Bernie.

However, things prove difficult when Bernie phones Nicky McKendrick to see Cameron's daughter Juliet. Nicky reveals that Juliet is being looked after by someone else, also blaming Bernie for Cameron being the way he was.

Will she regret her return to Holby?
