Yahoo News Holby City star on whether Josh and Ange will have a happy ending

Holby City star Dawn Steele has teased a happy ending for her character Ange Godard and Josh Hudson, as the medical drama prepares to wrap up for good after 23 years on-air.
Ange and Josh (Trieve Blackwood-Cambridge) have faced several setbacks in their relationship, including Josh's recent bulimia relapse and the premature birth of their twins, but with the pair having recently got engaged, the future is starting to look brighter for them.
Speaking to Digital Spy and other media ahead of Holby's final ever episode, which airs on Tuesday, March 29, Dawn revealed that there is still more to come for the couple before we say goodbye to Holby.

"There's a happy ending," she said of Ange and Josh's relationship. "There's a lot with Josh's bulimia before it ends, as he has to come to terms with it and move forward – that's his character and story.
"But yes, it is a positive ending and there is happiness for Ange and Josh."
There may be sunshine ahead for Ange and Josh, but what about Ange's relationship with her older son, Dom Copeland (David Ames), which has often been strained ever since it was revealed that Ange is Dom's biological mother?
Dawn also has positive news on an outcome for Ange and Dom, revealing that "they have a lot to do together in the last episode".

"That was proper teary and emotional. It ties things up and I feel we've come full circle in our story," she said. "It's a really lovely story for us and, of course, there's a bigger picture as well so there's a bigger story going on for all the different characters.
"But for us personally I really enjoyed our final moments and I think it did our story justice. Their relationship moves on and it has a positive ending."
The actress, who joined Holby as Ange in 2019, added that she has loved having the opportunity to really explore the story of Dom's parentage, saying that it has been a "really fun" plot.
"There's so much to explore in her relationship with Dom," she said. "I came in specifically to play Dom's mother and to upset that whole thing with Carole (Copeland, played by Julia Deakin). Carole had been in it for years so Ange coming in was a real big shock for Dom.

"Over the three and a half years I've been here I feel like we've explored it. It's been really fun to do. We always get really great scenes together, we act well together, we get on really well together.
"And I feel like it's come to, not a conclusion but it's a happy moving forward feeling with it. So it's been really lovely."
