Hustlers star Julia Stiles welcomes second baby – and shares sweet name

Julia Stiles has welcomed her second child with husband Preston Cook.

The 10 Thing I Hate About You actor, who most recently appeared in titles such as Riviera and Hustlers, took to Instagram on Wednesday, January 26 to announce the happy news.

"Welcome to the world, Baby Arlo! The newest addition to our family, reminding me how infinite love can be," she wrote, revealing the newborn's name alongside a sweet photo of the infant's feet poking out of a bundle of blankets.

"Scroll forward to see how my 4 year old is taking it…" the 40-year-old added, directing her followers to a hilarious snap of a white toilet with red scribbles all over it.

As if the illustration wasn't enough, the pair's eldest, a son named Strummer, appeared to have also taped a paper beard with an unhappy-looking mouth to the cistern.

Stiles, who married Cook in September 2017, publicly acknowledged her pregnancy for the first time last month when she posted a photo of herself and her baby bump. "2022, we are ready for you," she captioned the image.

"Oh love! Yes!!!!" Euphoria's Colman Domingo commented, while Hustlers director Lorene Scafaria said: "Wonderful news ❤️ congrats Julia!!!!"

"Oh yaaaaaaay CONGRATULATIONS beauty!!!" model Poppy Delevingne added, as singer Vanessa Carlton excitedly exclaimed: "Let's gooooooo".

Back in 2019, Stiles opened up to People about how motherhood has helped her in her work.

"One of the most remarkable things is that, in many ways, having my attention focused on my son has made me a better actress because I don't come home every night dwelling on every little scene, every little line, and obsessing over my work," she told the publication.
