It's been an eventful series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, and now the 2022 contest is drawing to a close.

The series finale is set to air on Sunday, 27 November at 9pm on ITV.

Although the final will include some pre-recorded updates from the final day in camp, the winner will be announced live by hosts Ant and Dec, who will sit down for chats with the final three as they leave the jungle and then crown the King or Queen of the jungle.

Of course, the main detail that everyone wants to know but which will be impossible to reveal yet is which campmates make the final three.

Whoever it is that gets down to the last few this year, the finale of the series usually takes a familiar form.

Celebrities will get the chance to take on every campmate's favourite trial and the last one of the series, Celebrity Cyclone, which sees the remaining campmates battle to complete an assault course on a giant slip and slide while being blasted with jets of water.

Stars won from the challenge go towards the final dinner, which will be different for every finalist as it's a bespoke three-course menu with drinks that they have all ordered before ever setting foot in camp.

There's sure to be an obligatory last-night emotional chat around the campfire as the celebrities discuss how far they've come, before Ant and Dec announce the winner live the next morning.

Celebrities will each get an exit interview after crossing the bridge, ending with the winner who will then be crowned and take their throne in front of their campmates.

It will be an extra special ceremony this year as for the past two years, campmates had to video call in rather than attending in person so as not to break COVID bubbles.

It's an ever-changing state of affairs for who the eventual winner is likely to be, but at the moment BetVictor's most recent odds place Owen Warner as the probable champion with 5/4.

Close behind him is Jill Scott on 6/4 and then Mike Tindall on 8/1, with many of the show's fans appearing to agree that one of the three is likely to be crowned.

What might be more surprising is that controversial campmate Matt Hancock is currently expected to be fourth most likely to win, on odds of 10/1 - beating the likes of Boy George and Chris Moyles.

Whoever gets this year's crown will take over as the show's reigning champion from Emmerdale star Danny Miller, who entered 2021's castle camp when his son was just three weeks old.

The other winner from the castle was Giovanna Fletcher, the champion in the 2020 series.

Before that, the last celebrity to win in the jungle was Jacqueline Jossa, way back in 2019.

When is I'm A Celebrity back on TV in 2023?

I'm A Celeb fans needn't be too sad at the series end, as the show's first ever all star series is due to make its way onto screens in 2023.

Previous notable campmates will be given the chance to compete again in a new camp, this time based in South Africa, and although a series launch date has not yet been announced Ant and Dec have already been to visit the new set - suggesting that it can't be far off.

Campmates rumoured to be taking part include Joe Swash, Myleene Klass, Carol Vorderman and Jordan Banjo.

I'm A Celebrity final airs on Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
