I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is back in Australia for the first time since 2019 and the full cast line-up has been revealed with the two late entrants also entering the jungle.

The ITV show was shut out of Australia for two years because of COVID travel bans, but this year's celebrities are back in a sunshine setting after two series of campmates battling the North Wales elements - although they'll have all manner of jungle critters to worry about.

Late additions to camp:

Matt Hancock

He's not in the starting line-up of 10, but disgraced former Health Secretary Matt Hancock is one of two controversial late entrants and has responded to considerable backlash about his decision to become a campmate.

Hancock told The Sun: "The truth is, I haven’t lost my marbles or had one too many pina coladas. It’s something I’ve given a lot of thought to. I was elected by the people, and it’s important to engage with voters, especially younger voters, no matter where they are, and show the human side of politicians."

Although he is still an elected MP for West Suffolk, his parliamentary whip has been suspended while he is taking part in the show, meaning he is not a member of the Conservative Party.

Hancock was forced to quit as Health Secretary when he was caught having an affair with his aide Gina Coladangelo, breaking his own COVID social distancing rules.

Ahead of his jungle entrance, he said: "Politicians are people too and it will be nice for people to see me as me. We are human too."

Seann Walsh

Comedian Seann Walsh is the second late addition who had also been rumoured to be taking part for weeks beforehand.

He is best known for being caught kissing dance partner Katya Jones during Strictly Come Dancing in 2018, prompting his then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries to share an open letter accusing him of gaslighting and emotional abuse throughout their relationship.

She also recently published bestselling book, Why Did You Stay?, about her experiences of toxic love and what had happened while he was on Strictly.

She said: "If you are in a show like this you do want to win, but it is more about the experience, making new friends, a new family and just enjoying something that not many people get the chance to do."

Asked about being scared of jungle critters, he replied: "There's lots of everything in this country, like sport and beer and I am not scared of sport of beer. So I think I will be alright."

He added: "I have absolutely no idea what my family and friends would think of me doing a show like I'm A Celebrity. I have never asked them. But I think they would be much more nervous about me doing Antiques Roadshow."
