Janet Jackson splits from millionaire husband months after they welcomed first baby

Janet Jackson has reportedly split from her multi-millionaire husband, Wissam Al Mana, just three months after the couple welcomed their first child together.

Janet and Wissam’s son, Eissa, was born on January 3rd but it has now been claimed that their marriage is no longer working.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, a source shared: “Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn’t working and to go their separate ways.

“They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart.”

The insider went on to add that the pair have parted on good terms and that Eissa will be living with Janet.

They explained: “It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.”

Janet and Wissam married in an intimate ceremony in 2012, with the singer previously marrying twice before.

The star tied the knot with fellow musician James DeBarge in 1984, splitting in 1985, and also enjoyed a nine-year marriage to dancer Rene Elizondo Jr. from 1991 until 2000.

Janet previously delayed her 2016 tour after she fell pregnant with Eissa, saying in a statement: “I thought it was important that you be the first to know, my husband and I are planning our family, so I’m going to have to delay the tour.”
