Former WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy has signed with AEW and reunited with his brother Matt.

The 44-year-old made his debut on Wednesday's edition of AEW Dynamite, on the day his non-compete with WWE ended.

Jeff was released by WWE in January following an incident at a live event in Texas, and last month he confirmed that he would be heading to AEW to reform The Hardy Boyz with Matt.

On Dynamite, Matt had an in-ring meeting with his fellow members of the Andrade-Hardy Family Office, Andrade El Idolo and Private Party.

The group made the decision to vote Matt out, before attacking him three-on-one until Sting and Darby Allin came to make the save.

Then the classic Hardy Boyz entrance theme 'Loaded' played and Jeff made his way to the ring.

Jeff's signing was immediately confirmed by AEW CEO Tony Khan on Twitter, who wrote: "It’s official! @JEFFHARDYBRAND is ALL ELITE!," along with his All Elite graphic.

The Hardy Boyz are one of the most decorated tag teams in history, having captured multiple titles in WWE before Jeff's exit in 2009 and also in TNA (now IMPACT!).

They made their return to WWE in 2017 at WrestleMania 33, as the surprise entrants in the ladder match for the Raw Tag Team Championship, winning the titles.

Matt left WWE in 2020 after his contract expired. He then signed with AEW, debuting on the March 18, 2020 edition of AEW Dynamite.
