Joanna Page has been exposed as Pig on 'The Masked Dancer'.

The 45-year-old actress - who is best known for playing Stacey Shipman in 'Gavin and Stacey' - has been eliminated from the ITV show after strongly hinting at her time on the sitcom during the clue package.

Joanna - who starred on the hit BBC series alongside Mathew Horne, Ruth Jones and James Corden - referred to the number 47 during the package and she later explained the meaning behind it.

She said: "It was Stacey's house number in 'Gavin and Stacey'."

Joanna has become the latest celebrity to leave the show after last weekend's elimination of 'Desperate Housewives' star Jesse Metcalfe.

The actor was unmasked as Astronaut and later revealed that he was keen to face his fears on the show.

He said: "I thought it would be fun because dance is something that really intimidates me so it's a fear that I wanted to face.

"This has been unbelievable - it's one of the most zany things I’ve ever done in my career but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed myself."

Meanwhile, ITV recently defended its decision to air some of its most popular entertainment shows - including 'The Masked Dancer' - following the death of Queen Elizabeth.

The broadcaster said in a statement: "All programmes were pre-recorded before the sad news of Her Majesty The Queen’s passing.

"ITV’s main channel will continue to make changes to its schedule to broadcast the important state events of the coming days culminating in the historic state funeral with extensive and dedicated news coverage from our news teams.

"ITV will also be showing a number of documentaries about the Queen and the new King over the coming days. No advertising will run during any of the Royal coverage."
