Jonah Hill shuts down engagement rumours with hilarious response

Jonah Hill had a hilarious response after rumours about him getting engaged started gathering pace online.

The Knocked Up and Superbad star is dating surfer Sarah Brady, and this week the rumour mill started buzzing about them being set to wed.

Hill then poked fun at all the speculation by posting a message on Instagram saying: “The rumours are not true.

"I am engaged. But not to my girlfriend. I am engaged to your mom.

"I know this is shocking but please respect our privacy at this time."

The star added the tag "YOUR MOM'S HOUSE" to his post.

He captioned the message: “Media stop writing fake stuff it’s corny.”

Hill, 38, and Brady have been romantically linked for some time and the actor made things Instagram official when he shared a picture of them together last September.

Earlier this month he paid tribute to Brady in a sweet post on Valentine’s Day.

Uploading a picture of them smiling at the camera and another of them kissing, he called his girlfriend a “Valentine Goddess”.

“Thank you for endless new adventures and for teaching me new lessons every day,” he wrote.

“Thanks for the chance to grow and evolve and be better every day.”

Brady shared the same pictures on her own Instagram account, and wrote: “Thank you for making me this happy every day.”

Hill was previously set to wed to his former girlfriend Gianna Santos.

The pair got engaged in 2019 but they called it off a little over a year later, with sources saying it was an amicable split.
