Kelly Brook says she doesn't have 'that instinct' for motherhood and marriage

Kelly Brook has ruled out getting married or having children anytime soon as she says they aren't something she has the "instinct" for.

The 41-year-old model and presenter has been in a relationship with Jeremy Parisi since 2015, however, she's not looking to tie the knot or expand their family.

She told The Mirror's Notebook publication that while there are "constant" rumours they'll wed, a wedding was not on her bucket list.

"I feel like marriage and children are not things I’ve wanted," Brook went on. "I like travelling and being with my partner, I like animals, working and being independent and I like my freedom. I like being spontaneous. There are so many things I love, and I think marriage and children would stop me doing those things.

"I try to imagine how it would be, and when you have children it’s a huge commitment. It’s very hard to change your ways when you get to your forties and I don’t think it’s for everyone. I’m not saying never, it’s just not on my radar.

"I think about it every now and again, then I quickly forget about it. I just don’t have that instinct."

Brook previously fell pregnant while in a relationship with former rugby player Thom Evans but sadly experienced a miscarriage at around six months, and experienced a second one several months later.

She's previously spoken about her frustration when people have questioned her on why she doesn't have children.

Speaking on Loose Women in 2018, Brook said: “I never have the right answer because I never want to go into it, it’s never anybody’s business.”

Brook was previously engaged to actor Billy Zane and later to Gladiator David McIntosh.
