Kerry Katona details physical fight with Atomic Kitten's Natasha Hamilton

Kerry Katona has recalled how she had a physical fight with Atomic Kitten bandmate Natasha Hamilton while drinking on tour.

The 41-year-old former reality star revealed in her new autobiography Whole Again how she and Hamilton, 40, clashed while touring in Australia in 2017 after her bandmate accused her of tipping off paparazzi about their location.

Katona wrote: “We got into a huge fight.

"I’m not proud of the fact it turned physical but I was absolutely fuming that she was accusing me of doing something I absolutely didn’t do.

“I was going mental. I kicked off in front of everyone. They ended up locking me out of the pub, so I tried to break the door down to get back in. I was absolutely furious.”

The former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner rose to fame as one of the original members of girlband Atomic Kitten, formed in 1998.

Katona left in 2000 after falling pregnant with her first child, just as the band's No 1 hit single Whole Again propelled them to fame. Katona was replaced by Jenny Frost who joined Hamilton and Liz McClarnon.

Katona rejoined the band as part of ITV2 show The Big Reunion in 2013.

She left again in 2017, shortly after her clash with Hamilton.

Last year Atomic Kitten re-released Whole Again after it became the unofficial song of the England football team during the Euro 2020 championships.

Katona admitted: “I’m sad and envious. What I wouldn’t give to be back on stage with them.

"There’s no better feeling than being in front of an audience with your mates singing songs and doing dance routines. I’d be there in a heartbeat if they wanted me back.

“All I can do now is take the high road and wish them every success in the world.”

The TV star - who started out as a Page 3 Girl - has claimed subscription site OnlyFans had made her a millionaire.

The singer is mother to daughters Molly, 21, and Lilly, 19, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, as well as daughter Heidi, 15, and son Max, 14, from her second marriage to Mark Croft. She also has eight-year-old daughter Dylan-Jorge from her relationship with late husband George Kay.

Katona is engaged to personal trainer Ryan Mahoney, who she met on dating app Bumble in 2018. He proposed in August 2020.
