Since trailblazing designer Virgil Abloh died in late 2021, Louis Vuitton has been at a bit of a loss without him. The fashion house has struggled to place a worthy candidate to succeed Abloh as Creative Director — but yesterday Colm Dillane proved he may be up to the task.

The mind behind trendy apparel brand KidSuper, Dillane provided a playful, colour-rich menswear show that stayed loyal to Abloh’s vision for Louis Vuitton while bringing in his own trademark lively style. And the names in attendance were just as starry as they’ve ever been.

Everyone from rappers and actors to models (surplus to the ones on the runway) was there, watching on as Spanish singer Rosalia emerged, climbing atop a yellow car to sing songs from her hit album, Motomami.

She wasn’t the lone representative of the music industry either — British rappers Dave and Headie One were present in the FROW, alongside US artists Usher and Tyga.

Karlie Kloss was off-duty but in attendance, and wearing a simple white Louis Vuitton shift dress. Fittingly, Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount was also there, wearing a more experimental look — a cropped, knitted short sleeved jumper with a cartoon character emblazoned on the front, paired with a pleated skirt-meets-trousers number on the bottom. Like a full length version of a skort. Skrousers.

He was joined by fellow Netflix star Hunter Doohan, who plays Tyler Galpin in Wednesday opposite Jenna Ortega, Netflix’s new adaptation of the Addams Family franchise. Doohan arrived with at the show hand in hand with his husband, movie producer Fielder Jewett.

But the most talked about FROW couple sighting came from Kit Harrington and Rosie Leslie, who played love interests Jon Snow and Ygritte in Game of Thrones. The typically private couple, who married in 2018, posed together in almost matching outfits — except for the different blazer colours — with Kit’s hand around his wife’s waist.

This celeb couple can go a while without being spotted, which is why it’s so nice to get a crumb of content from the two of them. Harrington gave Game of Thrones just that in December last year, during a fan event, when he detailed how the pair first met.

“We first met having a costume fitting,” he said to the audience at the Game of Thrones Official Fan Convention in December 2022. “I remember she offered me a ginger biscuit and I went, ‘Yes please!’ I remember coming back home and saying to my best friend like, ‘Oh God, I think I found the one.'”

And it seems he was right — the pair have been together for nearly seven years now. Let’s just hope they start rocking up to even more front rows now — with more matching outfits to boot.
