Legends of Tomorrow losing big character in season 4

From Digital Spy

DC's Legends of Tomorrow is in need of a new speedster heading into the fall season.

The Waverider will have an occupancy when the CW superhero series returns from its summer hiatus because Keiynan Lonsdale will not be returning as Wally West (aka Kid Flash), at least as a regular.

Lonsdale made the jump to Legends of Tomorrow last year, when he wrapped his multi-season run as Iris West's (Candice Patton) kid brother on The Flash.

TVLine reports that the door remains open for Keiynan Lonsdale to guest star on Legends in the future, and he will definitely be returning to The Flash for that show's season five premiere.

Legends of Tomorrow has already added two new members ahead of the fourth season, signing up Matt Ryan on a full-time basis as John Constantine and also bringing Ava Sharpe (Jes Macallan) on board.

The Legends will also be taking part in another huge multi-night crossover event this autumn with Arrow, Supergirl and The Flash, although this one is going to extra special for DC fans.

Arrow star Stephen Amell confirmed last month that the team-up event will take place in Batman's hometown of Gotham City, and will introduce Batwoman in live-action for the very first time.

"We are adding the city of Gotham into the Arrowverse," The CW boss Mark Pedowitz confirmed to reporters at the TCA press tour. "This will be another full-throttled action-packed event."

The next Arrowverse crossover will air on The CW in the US and Sky One in the UK this December.
